Vancouver School Board are planning to deploy generative AI in schools.
Vancouver School Board (VSB) announced in May 2025 that they would partner with Microsoft to put Copilot in schools.
In December 2025 VSB sent out a survey to students asking for feedback (only visible if you are a VSB student or staff member). The form contents make it clear that they are planning on deploying Copilot or something similar in the near future.
Students at local schools have also started their own campaign to push back against Copilot being used in schools.
